14-day side-by-side trial

Try CareCam next to your current provider, on your own cameras

We ship you a real CareCam appliance. It runs on your existing cameras alongside the service you use today, so you can compare the two for 14 days. Switch if you like it, or return it for a full refund of your $199 deposit.

A real trial, not a sales demo

A screen-share can't tell you how a service behaves on your cameras, your network, and your parents' phones. So we skip the demo and put the actual product in your building, next to what you already pay for.

  • A real appliance, not a staged demo

We ship the same production appliance our customers run. It streams your actual classrooms from your actual cameras, so what you see in the trial is what you get after it.

  • Your current provider keeps running

CareCam connects to your compatible cameras separately. Nothing is disconnected, parents keep watching the way they do today, and you compare both services live.

  • Full refund if it isn't a fit

Return the appliance within 14 days and the full $199 deposit comes back. No contract to cancel, nothing to uninstall.

How the trial works

  1. 1

    Tell us your setup

Your camera brand, number of rooms, and current provider. We confirm your cameras are compatible by email before anything ships.

  2. 2

    Place the $199 refundable deposit

That's the only cost of the trial. We ship a pre-configured CareCam appliance to your center.

  3. 3

Plug it in, we connect your cameras

One power cable, one network cable. We handle the rest remotely and start with one or two cameras while your current system keeps running.

  4. 4

Compare side by side for 14 days

Open both services on the same room at the same time. Invite a director, a teacher, and a few parents so you hear it from the people who'll use it.

  5. 5

    Switch, or send it back

Like it? The appliance stays, your $199 is credited to your bill, and we move your parents over. Not for you? Return it within 14 days for a full refund.

What to compare while both are running

Put the same classroom up on both services and judge for yourself. These are the things directors tell us matter most.

  • How fast the live view opens on a parent's phone
  • Picture quality on the same camera, at the same moment
  • How simple the parent login is, with no app required
  • Whether each family sees only their own child's room
  • Viewing hours that follow the schedule you set
  • How easy it is to add, pause, or remove a parent

The terms, in plain English

  • $199 refundable deposit

The only cost of the trial. No setup fee, no subscription charge while you evaluate.

  • 14 days, starting when it arrives

The clock starts on delivery, not on the day we ship, so you get the full trial in your building.

  • Switch and the deposit becomes credit

If you move to CareCam, the appliance stays in place and the $199 is credited to your CareCam bill.

  • Return it for a full refund

Send the appliance back within 14 days and we refund the full $199. No questions about why.

  • No contract at any point

The trial doesn't sign you up for anything. CareCam itself is month-to-month, and parents never pay to watch.

  • United States only

The shipped-appliance trial is for centers in the US. Your cameras need to be compatible, which we confirm first.

Switching from another parent-viewing provider? The trial stacks with our switch offer, including free service until your current contract ends, up to 6 months.

Start your side-by-side trial

Tell us your camera brand, room count, and current provider. We'll confirm compatibility by email, usually within one business day, then arrange the $199 refundable deposit and ship your appliance.

Trial questions

How does the CareCam side-by-side trial work?
We ship you a real CareCam appliance, the same one our customers run every day. You plug it into your network, we connect it to your compatible cameras remotely, and CareCam runs next to your current parent-viewing provider for 14 days. You compare the two on your own cameras, in your own building, and decide from there.
What does the trial cost?
A $199 refundable deposit, and nothing else. If CareCam isn't a fit, return the appliance within 14 days and we refund the full $199. If you switch, the $199 is credited to your CareCam bill.
Is this a demo or the real product?
It's the real product. The appliance we ship is a production CareCam appliance, connected to your actual cameras and streaming your actual classrooms. Nothing is staged. If you move forward, the same appliance stays in place and we add the rest of your cameras.
Do I have to turn off my current provider during the trial?
No. Your current system keeps running the whole time, and parents keep watching the way they do today. CareCam connects to your compatible cameras separately, so you can look at both services side by side before you change anything.
What happens to my deposit if I switch?
The appliance stays where it is, and your $199 deposit is credited to your CareCam bill. From there we add your remaining cameras, load your family list, and send the parent invites. You cancel the old service once CareCam is live and verified.
What if I decide CareCam isn't for us?
Unplug the appliance and return it within 14 days for a full refund of your $199 deposit. There's no contract to cancel and nothing to uninstall, because your cameras and your current provider were never touched.
Can parents and staff try it during the trial?
Yes. Most centers start with one or two cameras and a small group, such as a director, a teacher, and a few parents they trust. Each person gets their own login, scoped to the rooms and hours you set, exactly as it would work after a full switch.
Who can get the trial?
The shipped-appliance trial is available to childcare centers, preschools, and home daycares in the United States. Your cameras need to be compatible (most IP cameras that support RTSP or ONVIF are), and we confirm that by email before anything ships. Outside the US, contact us and we'll work out the right way to evaluate CareCam for your setup.
