CareCam

For Montessori schools

A Montessori camera system built around observation

Observation is at the heart of Montessori. CareCam lets families watch the work cycle live — without an extra adult disturbing the prepared environment. It's video-only, runs on the cameras your school already has, and each parent sees only their own child's classroom.

Made for the prepared environment

Observation without disruption

Observation is central to Montessori. Cameras let families watch the work cycle unfold — concentration, independence, grace and courtesy — without a visitor in the room changing the environment.

Runs on your existing cameras

CareCam works with most standard IP cameras (RTSP/ONVIF), so a school can add live parent viewing without re-wiring the prepared environment or buying proprietary hardware.

Video-only, calm by design

No microphones and no audio — which keeps the peaceful, low-stimulation atmosphere intact and sidesteps audio-consent law entirely.

Private by default

Each parent sees only their own child's classroom, during hours the school sets. No public links, no recording for parents — access is enrollment-gated.

Montessori camera system — FAQ

Does a camera system fit the Montessori philosophy?
It can, when it's built around observation rather than surveillance. Montessori already treats observation as essential; live viewing simply extends that to families in a controlled way — video-only, per-parent, during set hours — without putting an extra adult in the prepared environment.
Will cameras disrupt the prepared environment?
No. CareCam uses the cameras a school already has and is video-only (no audio), so there's nothing intrusive in the room. Parents observe remotely; the classroom stays calm and undisturbed.
Can we use our existing cameras?
In most cases yes. CareCam works with standard RTSP/ONVIF IP cameras (Hikvision, Dahua, Amcrest, UniFi, Hanwha), so most Montessori schools add live viewing without new hardware. Send us your models and we'll confirm.
Is live viewing a good enrollment differentiator?
Montessori families value transparency and observation, so offering secure live viewing can be a genuine enrollment advantage — it signals confidence in the environment and lets prospective parents see the difference for themselves.
