Works with the CCTV you already have
Most Malaysian centres already run Hikvision, Dahua, or similar. If your cameras or recorder can produce a standard RTSP/ONVIF stream (most can), CareCam adds parent viewing on top with no rewiring and no new cameras.

No appliance to import or ship. CareCam installs as a small Windows service on a PC the centre already owns (a reception desktop is enough), which pulls from your existing cameras or NVR. No Docker, no configuration files, no command line.

Does CareCam work with Hikvision or Dahua systems?
Yes, in most cases. These brands stream standard RTSP/ONVIF, which is exactly what CareCam pulls. Send us your camera or recorder model numbers and we will confirm compatibility before you pay for anything.
Do we need new cameras, rewiring, or an appliance?
Usually not. CareCam installs as a small Windows service on a PC your centre already has and pulls a live substream from your existing cameras or NVR over your network, while your recorder keeps recording as before. There is no appliance to buy or import for Malaysia. New cameras are only needed for rooms that have no camera today.
What PC do we need?
Any Windows 10 or 11 PC that stays on during viewing hours works, a reception desktop is enough. The workload is remuxing video, not transcoding, so it does not need to be a powerful machine. Outbound internet only; no port forwarding, no static IP, and it works fine behind CGNAT.
What internet connection does the centre need?
A standard broadband or fibre connection works. Streaming is on demand, so upload bandwidth is used only while a parent is actually watching, roughly 1 to 2 Mbps per classroom being watched at a time.
Can parents record or share the stream?
No. The stream is live-only and video-only, with no recording or download features for parents. Each login is tied to one family and limited to their child's classroom during hours you set.
