Can you use a Arlo camera for daycare parent viewing?
No. Arlo cameras can't be used for daycare parent viewing. Arlo streams to its own cloud with no supported local RTSP/ONVIF output on current models.
Arlo's current lineup (Essential, Pro, Ultra) is built around the Arlo cloud and app. There is no supported RTSP or ONVIF stream for third-party systems to pull, and most Arlo cameras are battery-powered, which works against continuous daytime streaming even in principle.
Community workarounds for old discontinued Arlo base stations exist, but nothing you'd want a daycare's parent viewing to depend on.
What we recommend
Keep Arlo for outdoor/home security and add a dedicated RTSP camera per daycare room (Anpviz or Reolink wired, or TP-Link Tapo WiFi, roughly $40–90 per camera) connected to CareCam for secure per-parent access.
